Steve and Irene asked me to write about my favorite part of knife design. That’s easy, the first time I get to hold a new design in my hands and see it for the first time. In the latter stages of R&D we get to see them in virtual reality through our fancy (ultra-high resolution) business-model VR headsets (along with some intense after-hours VR gaming competitions between us), but there’s nothing like seeing and feeling something we’ve imagined and labored over with our own eyes.
