The Ronin Nakiri slicing eggplant

Premium 7Cr17MoV Steel

Ronin SERIES

Ronin Series knives are distinguished by their finely etched design reminiscent of the classic Japanese Seigaiha pattern (waves layered from concentric circles which represent surges of good luck, resilience, and power). Adorned with two marbled resin bands resembling twin moons or celestial wedding rings, the knives are equipped with extremely durable mirror polished pakkawood handles. Each knife has full tang strength.

The Ronin Series features premium high carbon 7Cr17MoV stainless steel.

BLADE FEATURE

Ronin Series knife blades are vacuum furnace heat treated and nitrogen cooled which greatly enhances the blade’s performance, providing excellent wear resistance and durability, while minimizing the chance of chips and fractures occurring under heavy stress. Forged from premium 7Cr17MoV high carbon stainless steel, the composition of this steel results in great edge retention, keeping the knife’s blade sharper, longer. The steel has a Rockwell Hardness (HRC) of 58 for strength, flexibility, and blade edge durability. Each blade is hand sharpened to a perfect 16-degree angle per side.
